Just ten weeks after launching its own version of MySpace, Wal-Mart shut down “The Hub."

In place of the site, where teens were formerly encouraged to upload photos and videos and create shopping lists of their most desired Wal-Mart (nyse: WMT - news - people ) wares, is a redirect to Walmart.com and a note that reads, “Sorry, but the School Your Way promotion has ended.”
