California-based Stylehive has secured $2.62 million of a $3.32 million deal led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, it was reported today. The social-bookmarking site for fashion was founded by Michael Carrier and the site design is by Emily Chang and Max Kiesler of Ideacodes.

Stylehive is similar to Wists and Kaboodle - when you’re on a shopping site, you hit the browser bookmarklet to grab relevant text and images. You can then select which image to use, choose from some automatically generated tags and post the item to your account. You can also add items from Stylehive.com by hitting the “quick copy” button next to any bookmark. The design is large, bold and colorful - you’ll either love it or hate it.
