What was DatingAnyone.com?

DatingAnyone.com was a free service which would monitor a user's Myspace friendslist for any changes in dating status. When the DatingAnyone.com spider detected any changes, it would generate an email alert to the user letting them know which of their friends had changed their dating status and what that change was.

Jared Chandler, the founder of Datinganyone.com was recently sent a cease and desist letter from the lawyers of Myspace, basically shutting down the site. This was the second site that Myspace has shutdown this month, the other being, SingleStat.us, which basically offered the same service...SCARY!
