The night I saw Simon Dawes open for Dios Malos at the historic El Rey Theartre in Los Angeles , I remember saying to my wife Molly; "WOW - these guys are so cool, why haven't we heard or seen these guys around before?"

When we got home that night, I went straight to my computer and logged onto Myspace and found their profile, which lead me to their EP "Simon Dawes" and now their new full length album "What No One Hears".

A cross between Pavement and Camper Van Beethoven with a dash of the Beach Boys circa the Pet Sounds album; Simon Dawes knows how to infuse old with the new and brings something special to the table.
