The first time I heard the song "rough gems" I was hooked, so hooked , I played it over and over again and just when I thought I was sick of it, I ran off and got my wife so I could play it for her.

The Islands borrow from a long list of indie influences but they're just eclectic enough to create a very unique sound of their very own and it works.

Their album "RETURN TO THE SEA" is definitely worth logging into the iTunes' music store -- go find it.
